ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with multi-dimensional analogues of the Bernoulli polynomials related to iterated Helmholtz operators. As in the one-dimensional theory, the multi-dimensional “Bernoulli polynomials” are understood as Green functions for the Helmholtz operators ∆ + λ, λ ∈ R, and the “boundary condition” of Λ-lattice periodicity.
