ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on regulatory activities related to green initiatives that have relevance to green IT in general and green networking in particular. The purpose is to sensitize the reader as to who the key players in this space are and the general activities with which these players are involved. What follows is a partial survey of the space; a large number of organizations are involved in green initiatives from an advocacy and/or standardization perspective, but this chapter addresses only a subset of the stakeholders.
