ABSTRACT
Mandates by large suppliers such as Walmart and the Department of Defense (DOD) are driving development, use, and price of RFID passive technologies in the supply chain. Due to these mandates becoming a main driver for RFID technologies, we provide an overview of the most important organizations mandating that suppliers use RFID technologies. We will discuss DOD, Walmart, and other companies that are considered leaders in supporting RFID.
