ABSTRACT
In Chapter 3 we presented and discussed photoluminescent properties of traditional phosphors for white LEDs, such as garnets, silicates, aluminates, sul”des, and scheelite phosphors. In this chapter, we will turn our attention to a new type of luminescent material-nitride phosphors, which are very attractive for white LEDs.
