ABSTRACT

In some real-life applications, we have implemented the splitting methods as solver schemes and discussed the results.

In the following, we point out that the following advantages and disadvantages of the iterative splitting scheme can occur to such delicate problems:

• Iterative splitting schemes can be implemented with standard codes, for example, Unstructured Grid (UG), see [15], and MATLAB R© codes, e.g., Finite Difference and Operator Splitting Methods (FIDOS). Such implementations to standard codes improve the accuracy of the underlying splitting schemes.
