ABSTRACT
Incorporating more realistic assumptions into the formulation of a mathematical
model leads to increased complexity in the resulting IBVP, which in turn must be
accounted for in its formulation as an abstract SEE. The new forcing terms arising in
these IBVPs can often be viewed as mappings between function spaces. This chapter
focuses on the study of SEEs equipped with such forcing terms.
