ABSTRACT
Soil microbial communities and their enzymatic activities play an important role in soil fertility and quality because most organic matter and nutrient transformations are mediated by microbial activity. In this chapter, we review the last knowledge of the effects of agriculture management on soil quality from a microbiological perspective.
