Introduction Green IT and the entire environmental sustainability domain are moving rapidly. Besides that, it is also a relatively nascent domain that requires continuous attention as the speed of technological development impacts carbon emissions and the business in many unexpected ways. Technologies increase emissions and they also create possibilities of reducing them. One can easily paraphrase David Kirkpatrick* when he says that “ e age of computing has barely begun”; in fact, the age of Green IT is yet to begin.
