ABSTRACT
The term “proact”has recently come to mean the opposite of react. This may seem to be in conict with PROACT’s use as a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tool. Normally when we think of RCA, the phrase “after-the-fact” comes to mind-after, by its nature, an undesirable outcome that must occur in order to spark action. So how can RCA be coined as proactive?
