ABSTRACT

Sanitary tissue products (facial tissues, toilet tissues, and absorbent towels) are used in high quantities. The basis weight, thickness, strength, and dispersing medium of these products often differ widely, but they are all linked together by the common process through which they originate: the creped papermaking process (drying the paper web on a Yankee dryer and then scraping the sheet with a creping blade or air jets [1]).
