ABSTRACT

Nanostructured materials have broad applications in a variety of ›elds because of their unusual chemical, optical, electronic, and magnetic properties (Schmid, 1992; Burda et al., 2005). They are characterized by an extremely large speci›c surface area, and their properties are determined mainly by the behavior of their surface (Hodes, 2007). The applications of nanomaterials are well known in the ›elds of cosmetics and pharmaceutical products, coatings, electronics, energy, and catalysis.
