Gas Manufacturing (II) Secondary Processes: Gas-Manufacturing Processes Other than Coal Gas and Carburetted Water Gas

If we somehow knew the exact sum total of how much artiŽcial gas has been produced in the United States, it is the author’s belief that the two “primary” gas-manufacturing technologies (coal distillation and carburetted water gas, as treated in Chapter 2) would add up to about 85%–90% of the sum total quantity of toxic residuals and wastes of concern in today’s environmental era.
