ABSTRACT
Following the UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in 1992 (see Chapter 3 of this book), the Inter-Organization Programme for the Sound Management of Chemicals (IOMC) was established to foster increased collaboration between international organizations in the area of sound chemicals management.
