ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I will introduce a few of the most important historical developments in the study of astronomy, then focus on some concepts of physics that resulted from our desire to understand the function of the Heavens, and œnish with a discussion of what we can look forward to as we continue our quest to answer life’s most challenging questions.
