ABSTRACT

In my view, this is the most important process that the maintenance manager must champion. It takes a disciplined manager, a passionate leader who understands his leadership role in keeping equipment in specified operating condition. It takes a team player who understands that his two primary roles are to make sure that key facility infrastructure systems such as electrical, gas, steam, and air are always available through quality maintenance and to make sure that production equipment has zero unplanned downtime, particularly on constraints.
