ABSTRACT
Hydraulics is associated with the transmission and control of forces and movement by means of a functional –uid. Hydraulic power is derived from a pump and transmitted to terminal elements such as rotary motors or linear cylinders. Although the primary demands on hydraulic –uid are associated with the power transmission, there are many secondary demands, including corrosion protection, heat dissipation, environmental compatibility, and lubrication.
