ABSTRACT

Fire-resistant hydraulic –uids are an essential component for the safe operation of hydraulic systems in many industries where there is a risk of re due to the presence of necessary ignition sources. Water-glycol (W/G) hydraulic –uids are the most widely used re-resistant type in the world today [1]. This is because they provide an optimum combination of re resistance, lubrication, corrosion protection, and economy of use for medium to high pressures and most other conditions required in industrial hydraulic systems.
