ABSTRACT
Reinventing Local and Regional Economies was intended to highlight, through the use of case studies, cities and regions that have experienced some economic growth or economic development and may have come back from devastating economic declines. e expectation is that their colleagues in other cities will be able to learn from their experiences-both positive and negative-and that it may stimulate thought or discussion that will ultimately be beneficial.
