ABSTRACT
In forensic investigation, searches are performed to locate clandestine graves, bodies deposited on the surface, and any missing body parts, skeletal elements, and associated evidence. At the same time, searches can also be utilized in clearing areas so investigations can continue in other suspected areas. Before conducting a search, a search plan should be formulated that identi es the personnel and equipment that will be needed and the speci c search techniques that will be used.
