A§er the discovery and recording of skeletal remains, the next important step in the process is their collection. Skeletal remains should be treated like any other evidence recovered from a scene. It must be collected, packaged, and recorded properly to avoid any potential problems concerning chain of custody. is chapter includes discussions of proper handling, packaging, and storage of all remains including those with so§ tissue and cremations.
