ABSTRACT
A businessman is exploring a city new to him. He finds a pet store, wanders in, and starts chatting with the owner. After half an hour, the owner says, “I can see you are a discerning gentleman. I have something special to show you,” and he brings out a parrot. “This parrot is very smart, and speaks four languages: English, German, French and Spanish,” he says. The businessman tries out the parrot in each language, and the parrot answers. “I have to have this parrot,” says the businessman, so he buys the parrot, puts it on his shoulder, and leaves the shop.
