ABSTRACT

Organizational Alignment is the linking of strategic, cultural, processes, people, management, systems, and rewards to accomplish the best results. In terms of Organizational Alignment, having a compelling vision of the future of the market and the industry is one of the key implementation challenges and a vital ingredient in an organizational plan. Staying the course involves the alignment of key critical systems and critical cultural philosophies. The concept of Organizational Alignment considers the extent to which organizational strategy, structure, and culture create an environment that facilitates achievement of organizational objectives and development of high-performance work organizations. A major outcome and advantage of Organizational Alignment is that the process unleashes new sources of energy and synergy. Organizational alignment offers the promise of new challenges, new markets, and new opportunities. The requirements for using the Organizational Alignment strategy as a catalyst for a successful value-adding process are the three-phase conceptual framework and competent leadership.
