ABSTRACT
The Mineral Beneficiation plant for separating metalliferous mineral from gangue is called a concentrator or a mill and the process is called concentration or milling. The flow sheet is devised to make apparent at a glance the principal operations employed in the treatment scheme, the extent of each operation, the products made and the points at which they are taken out. Agglomeration is a method of bringing the fine particles of ore together and agglomerates them into lumps of suitable size and strength. A quantitative description of a system or process by one or more mathematical equations is termed as Mathematical Model or simply Model. Simulation can be defined as a process of imitating a real phenomenon with a set of mathematical models. The Mechanistic model, Population Balance model and Empirical or Statistical model are the three types of mathematical models.
