ABSTRACT
Owing to an increase in the number of minipigs used in the nonclinical research area, much information concerning the minipig skeletal system, especially macroanatomical data, has become available. More detailed data, such as bone mineral content (BMC) and bone mineral density (BMD), have been obtained for Sinclair and Yucatan minipigs.
