ABSTRACT
The fundamentals of power ¡ow in alternating current (ac) circuits-usually covered in an undergraduate course in electrical engineering-are reviewed in this chapter. A clear understanding of these fundamentals will prepare the student for the chapters that follow, and is also essential for working in the electrical power —eld.
