Further Examples for the Comparison of Two Groups

In the following, the methods discussed in Chapters 2 to 5 are illustrated

using data sets from a variety of applications. First, an educational experiment

and a clinical trial are considered. The third example presents a comparison

of soil lead values from two different districts, and brood sizes of birds are

considered in the fourth example. Moreover, an epidemiological case-control

study is analyzed.
