ABSTRACT
This method was originally suggested by Middendorp, Bermingham et al. (1992). All versions of the Unloading Point Method start with determination of the so-called unloading point, where the velocity v(tu-max) of the pile is zero. Several methods are proposed to estimate the full load-displacement curve. In these guidelines, the version which assumes a hyperbolic load-displacement curve is adopted.
