ABSTRACT
This chapter continues the discussion on available information of damping design principles and approaches for nonlinear and irregular structures. While this general area is a current frontier in earthquake engineering research with many challenges yet to be addressed, only the limited amount of knowledge currently available is discussed and summarized for possible damping design applications.
