ABSTRACT
In the startup toolbox, the Analysis Systems menu contains a list of tasks that can be executed using Workbench. If one double clicks on Static Structural (ANSYS), for example, a menu of subtasks to be performed appears in the Project Schematic (Graphics) window:
Static Structural (ANSYS) Engineering Data Geometry Model Setup Solution Results
The Engineering Data task includes the selection of a material. If a geometric figure has been previously constructed, this task is opened first and
then associated with the stress analysis by dragging the geometry to the Geometry task. A double click on Model starts the Mechanical task in which the finite element analysis is formulated. The desired output is set up in the Solution task.
