ABSTRACT

Complex posttraumatic stress syndromes are nested in your own biological, psychological, and spiritual expressive self: all revolve within what is known as your personality. Extraordinary events are interpreted by you within what can best be characterized as your own specialized style with the depth of your own personality. Personalities are stable over time but are also a£ected and a£ect human-animal survival in™uences (ethology) within your ecological demands of your unit. ¡e eco-ethological in™uences create an impact where psychological wounds sear into your psyche, as well as soul. Your own active shižing identity modes as you witnessed with Sergeant Z emerge during your experiences of traumatic losses. Over time your wounds leave scarring, and each scar leaves tracks leading back to the original wound. It is those tracks that I make it my business to understand and to learn anew with you and each o‚cer I work with.
