Prompted by the pioneering studies on the rational investigation on supra-and intermolecular self-organization that led to the origin of life on Earth, in recent years the topic of constructing cell models became a very fascinating research avenue (Morowitz, 1992; Forster and Church, 2006; Luisi et al., 2006; Mansy and Szostak, 2009; Luisi and Stano, 2011). The focus of these studies is placed on structural and dynamical organization in microcompartmentalized systems, generally based on self-assembled compartments such as lipid vesicles, micelles, and reverse micelles.
