ABSTRACT
This chapter covers the programmatic (non-GUI) aspects of these integrations, using some useful Java libraries in our MATLAB code. Chapter 3 (Rich GUI Using Java Swing) shows how we can use the Java GUI integration to enrich plain-vanilla MATLAB GUI.
