Research and Conclusions about Effectiveness

Do gang injunctions reduce crime? This question was the basis for the 25-gang injunction study outlined in Chapter 8 and the police officer survey outlined in Chapter 9. The key findings of this research revealed that gang injunctions are effective and that crime goes down in the areas where gang injunctions are implemented.
