ABSTRACT
Electron pairs are as important in physics as in chemistry. Below a critical temperature, TC, some metals become superconductors (SC) without resistance. Experiments show that the charge carriers are electron pairs. Calculated heat capacities using the Bose-Einstein statistics agree very well with the experimental results, and this is also consistent with pair formation among some of the electrons.
