ABSTRACT
When you self-balance a cell, the layout of the cell is critical to ‹ow and for connecting the work of the operators in the cell. A layout that works with a level-loaded line will not necessarily work for self-balancing; some adjustments, and oµen a complete new layout, may be required. œis chapter will cover layout examples, design considerations, and operator-station setup within the cell.
