ABSTRACT
The understanding of the source of ethics may have its underpinnings in neurology, and neurological studies may contribute to our understanding of the basis of ethics . Humans seem to be ethical creatures and ethical behavior is dependent on functioning of the brain . Indeed, some recent work suggests that there are areas in the brain whose function is necessary for moral and ethical decision making on the part of the individual .
