ABSTRACT

Change is forced upon us through problems and errors, but problems and errors are also the seeds of opportunity and innovation. There are numerous models for implementing change, from the slow and systematic, such as Total Quality Management, to the fast and radical such as Process Reengineering. A world-class manager motivates the positive innovative and creative thinking process referred to as innoveering, which means, “creatively innovated changes.” Innoveering is innovative change engineering. It is change that uses technology, integration, and innovative strategies and focuses on a continuous improvement model. The business functions of an organization have, for a long time, focused on stability rather than on change. Most change models contain some label of quality in them. The focus of any change model should be on continuous improvement in the broad sense which includes both the Japanese incremental step perspective and the United States breakthrough business process improvement perspective.
