ABSTRACT
The learning goals of this chapter are to provide an understanding of the origin, nature, and impact of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) in the global community. The student will also learn of the risk factors, evaluation techniques on a general process to establish an ergonomic program focused on reducing the risks of WMSDs in industry.
