The Post-War Years

Immediately after the war, agricultural production and economic systems were in upheaval. The cost of financing the war had taken its toll both economically and socially and building on the lessons of the World War I and to avoid general malaise governments and institutions acted quickly and decisively. The first orders of business were the financial and agricultural reconstruction of the warring nations.
