ABSTRACT
Organic farming/gardening (see Chapter 25) requires the use of organic or naturally occurring substances to supply the essential plant nutrient elements. Some of these materials are readily available, while others have physical and/or chemical properties that limit their acceptability and use. Organic fertilizers vary considerably in elemental content and elemental form, whether in either inorganic soluble or organic insoluble form.
