The “no blood, no foul” concept has come to mean that the workplace is safe until there is an accident and a resultant injury. A common paradigm is that if there is no injury there is no accident. As long as an organization goes from day-to-day injury-free, then safety is ne. Nobody is being injured so all appears to be in order. Meanwhile, the organization could be experiencing numerous undesired events that do not result in injury or damage.
