ABSTRACT
Cryptologic surveillance involves seeking, analyzing, and decoding coded messages. The decoding process is more specifically known as the field of cryptanalysis. Cryptologic surveillance is a subset of cryptology, the part of the process that occurs after the devising of codes and the encoding of messages.
