ABSTRACT
Interconnections of computers and their components have reached a new level of quality for private users and organizations as well with the deployment of wireless technologies. Th e development of the WLAN (“Wireless Local Area Network”) was a milestone in this process. WLANs bring with them their very specifi c security requirements, which will be covered in this section.
