ABSTRACT
The standard method of providing three-wire service to a customer is from acenter-tapped single-phase transformer. This type of service provides the customer with two 120 Vcircuits and one 240 Vcircuit. Two types of transformersare available for providing this service. The „rst is where the secondaryconsists of one winding that is center tapped as shown in Figure 11.1.
