ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we provide an overview of common progressive neurological diseases and their e“ects on motor control in general and handwriting in particular. e aim of this chapter is to introduce the fundamental aspects of common neurological disease as the basis for an understanding of why and how handwriting changes in the presence of disease.
