ABSTRACT

Age-related motor changes manifest in various forms, including tremor, which can reduce the ability to perform šne motor tasks; diminished postural re²exes, which can lead to loss of balance and injurious falls; and motor slowing, which can impact driving and other physical activities (Potvin et al. 1980; Kolb et al. 1998). e rate of occurrence and magnitude of these impairments varies substantially among individuals but typically develops gradually and may become su±ciently incapacitating to be considered pathological.
