ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the details of how feedback changes an open-loop amplifier’s frequency response and examines how negative voltage feedback (NVF) and positive voltage feedback (PVF) can lead to amplifier instability. Practical use can be made of instability; we can design tunable sinusoidal oscillators using the same analytical techniques used in the design of linear feedback amplifiers.
