ABSTRACT
Is organizational safety important? Is it all about pro“tability? How important is corporate social responsibility? In this chapter, we hope to address some of these concerns and provide a better understanding as to why organizations must continue to spend money and allocate resources to continually improve their safety performance. The safety performance of an organization has a huge impact on the image of the organization, and in today’s business environment can make the difference between continuing to be in business and bankruptcy.
