ABSTRACT
This chapter de“nes major trends in occupational health and safety by regions and where possible, globally. Some of the trends examined include fatalities, workplace injuries, labor force changes, labor force demographics, and other trendable information that can demonstrate the evolution of safety in the workplace. A brief discussion is provided on key useful trends for industries and businesses.
