ABSTRACT
Japanese manufacturing companies have been increasingly adopting the mini pro„t center (MPC) system. Examples include Kyocera Corporation, Sumitomo Denki Kogyo, NEC Saitama, Sony Koda, Sony Minokamo, Sanyo Kasei, Taiyo Kogyo, Maekawa Seisakusho, and 3D. Such companies are also using the JIT production system or Toyota Production System. ™erefore, it seems that both systems are mutually benecial and t each other very well.
